Care Instructions

Congratulations on being the proud owner of a hide & leather product. Taking care of your new designer piece is simple and easy. Good news is we use only the highest quality leather which is a naturally stain resistant and repellent material. Here are some tips and tricks for longevity.
Hide Care Instructions (Cowhide, Goat Hide, Sheepskin & Springbok)
  • Shake out rugs instead of vacuuming where possible to remove loose dirt and dust.
  • Mix 5% white vinegar and 95% water in a spray bottle. Working in small areas at a time, lightly spray the rug with the solution. Then wipe that area with a soft sponge. Dry the rug immediately with a clean, dry rag and leave to dry naturally out of direct sunlight.

In order to maintain the look and feel of these rugs try to avoid: Displaying them in a place that gets lots of sun, high traffic area and keeping them in damp or humid rooms

Cowhide Leather Bag Care Instructions

  • Avoid hanging bags by their strap for storage.
  • Store in clean, cool and dry place.
  • Regularly clean out your bag and take extra care with light colour hide to prevent unwanted staining.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or solvents, clean with a damp cloth where required and allow to dry naturally.

In order to maintain the look and feel of cowhide try to avoid too much sunlight, moisture and heat. Please note that hair on hide is prone to shedding with continued friction & use.
