What is a Sample product?
Sample products are designs that we have had made to trial. These products are generally one offs or very small batch and won’t be repeated.
What is a Seconds product?
A 'Seconds' product has a small fault or issue that is picked up with our quality control. It is then graded as second grade as it cannot be sold for full price.
How much are the products reduced?
This depends on the fault of the product. Anywhere from 30-80% off RRP. The Sample products are perfectly functional and beautiful, therefore they aren't heavily discounted.
Where do I find the link to shop?
A link will appear on launch in the MAIN MENU of the website. This will be titled SS SALE. All products for the SALE will be found within this link.
How do I find the fault for the product?
The fault or issue (if any) will be listed in the product description.
Why do you sell Seconds products?
We believe in minimizing our footprint and with the longevity of hide products we believe it far better to sell these products on to be loved and used. Even with small faults/issues these products may still last for years and years.
Can I return a product from the Seconds & Sample SALE?
No, we don't offer returns or exchanges on sale items. Please ensure you make your selection carefully.
Will any of the products be restocked?
No, these products won't be restocked. Once they are gone, they are gone.
When will the next Seconds & Sample SALE be?
We don't have set dates for these sales but please make sure you're following us on social media for all updates related to sales, restocks and new releases.
How long does the SALE run for?
The sale will run until the products are sold out.
Can I place more than one order?
Yes, if you order more than once, we suggest choosing in-store pickup to avoid extra shipping charges. If you place more than one order and choose to pay postage we cannot refund the postage cost. For orders to be combined, they must be placed close together to avoid one being dispatched without the other.
What products are in the Seconds & Sample SALE?
You'll find an assortment of products from complete one off designs to OG products.
Can we get branding on these items?
Yes, branding is available for these products. Branding still needs to be purchased using the OTHER tab on the menu and navigating to Hot Iron Branding.
