Christmas is the busiest and most important time of year for small businesses. Every gift bought small makes a real difference. That's why we're bringing back Collaboration Over Competition: we'd rather lift each other up than compete.

Instead of heading to the big chains, shoppers can browse real Australian small businesses, from handmade gifts to the local hairdresser, and find something special for everyone on their list.

Gifted collab
Send us a product, or let us film a service or experience, for a review or try-on video on our socials. We'll hand-pick up to 10 businesses and let you know before you send anything.
Christmas giveaway
Tell us what product, service or gift voucher you'd put in the giveaway and its value. We'll confirm who's in, plus the prize details and timing.
Optional paid upgrades
Our paid ads have over A$1.5 million in spend behind them, so your business gets in front of a big audience this Christmas.
Category Highlight 3 per category
Pinned to the top of your category in the directory, and helps cover the admin behind the campaign.
Featured Ad 20 spots
Your own feature in our paid Meta ads campaign. You provide the ad content (photos or a short video) and we'll send you the specs.
Headline Partner 1 spot
"Collaboration Over Competition, presented by Country Allure and your business" on all ads, the directory banner and our emails, plus a Featured Ad and a Category Highlight.
Spots are first in, first served. All ads are labelled as paid. We'll confirm your spot and email an invoice, so nothing is charged through the form. Paid upgrades don't affect who's chosen for gifted collabs.

Good to know
Is it really free?
Yes. Every eligible business that signs up gets a free directory listing. Paid upgrades are completely optional.
Can service businesses join?
Yes. Salons, photographers, trades, coaches, classes and other local services are all welcome, and gift vouchers make great Christmas presents.
Who can join?
Australian owned, independently run businesses with an active ABN, fewer than 15 employees and turnover under A$10 million. Franchises and larger chains aren't eligible. You can sell products, services or both, online, in person or as a mobile service.
Does a paid upgrade get me a gifted collab?
No. Gifted collabs are their own way to be involved. We choose our 10 businesses on fit alone, so the reviews stay honest. Ads are always labelled as paid.
Will my products be returned?
Products and vouchers sent for gifted collabs or the giveaway aren't returned. You'll only send something once we've confirmed you're in.
Why add a discount code?
A unique code, like SHOPSMALL plus your business name, shows you exactly how many sales came from the directory, online and in store. We'll also add tracking to your directory link so visits from us show up in your own website reports.
When will I hear back?
After sign-ups close on Sunday 15 November, we'll email everyone with what they're part of and the next steps.
How will shoppers find me?
The directory will be split into products and services, grouped by category and location, so people can browse what they need or discover small businesses near them.
